European Parliament elections 2009 (74): 38 parties and organisations want to run in Germany

According to the German National Elections Office ('Bundeswahlleiter'), 38 parties and political organisations want to run in the EP elections in Germany.

The final decision on how many of these lists are actually admissible for the European elections will be pronounced on 10 April 2009.

At least 39 parties wanted to run, but Libertas failed to qualify for the national (federal) lists.
