In a blog post on Taurillon, the never satisfied Cédric covers the creation of "Pirate Parties" all over Europe, hinting inter alia to the international platform that these new formations have put up.
To make it very short: These Pirate Parties focus - broadly speaking - on the politics of new communication technologies and all questions related to these developments: Open Access, censorship, scientific exchanges, transparent governance etc.
Cédric concludes that only in Sweden these parties will be able to play a role for the upcoming European Parliament elections, but that there might be room for development for the future.
Looking at their platform's website, there is indeed much room for development...
