EP elections and Twitter coverage under #eu09

I didn't blog tonight, but you can have a look at my Twitter coverage of the the European Parliament elections' night if you want to get an insight in what was going on.

Remarkable: The hashtag #eu09 made it into the global Twitter trends around 21:30, half an hour before the full results were expected to come in. At midnight, it was still there.

Several thousands of tweets in a number of different European languages have been published under this tag, and so at least some in the Twitterworld might have noticed that there was a thing called European Parliament elections. And that Europe is not monolingual, but a Union of diversity that is still able to use the same label although speaking in various languages.
